will exist on your account. These items SHOULD NOT be removed as they may cause features of your web site to stop working.

You can preview your website via the following URL: http://IP/~username. For example if your IP address is 192.168.1.1 and your
username was 'bob' you would preview your website at http://192.168.1.1/~bob/
Using an FTP client to upload
---------------------------------------
If you plan to upload your web site using the FTP protocol, you will need to know some basic information such as the host
address, username, and password. The host address is simply: ftp.example.com Your web site IP address may also be used as
the host address for FTP.
Once you have logged-in, you will have several folders available. You will need to upload all web site files to the folder
named 'public_html'. If you are planning on using CGI programs on your web site, you will need to upload these files to the
folder named 'cgi-bin' located within the 'public_html' directory.
Using Microsoft FrontPage to upload
------------------------------------------------
If you are using Microsoft FrontPage to upload, you will first need to install the FrontPage extensions to your account from
within your control panel. Click the 'FrontPage Manager' icon in your control pane l and select the install option.
Once installation is complete, you simply need to use the 'Publish Web' feature to upload your web site to the server. The
location to publish to will simply be: http://www.example.com. You may also use your IP address instead of your domain name.
